• Do you usually sleep with your closet door open or closed? Usually, closed. However currently nothing in my life is usual and everything is in shambles and I have closet guts on the floor and I sleep with both closet doors open.
  
• Do you take the shampoo and conditioner bottles from hotels? No. But if the tiny soap bars smell good, then sometimes they come with me. 
  
• Where is your next vacation? TORONTO HOPEFULLY.
  
• Who do you think reads these? Bored people.
  
• Do you have a calendar in your room? I have an unopened Jane Austen calendar from 2012 sitting on my desk, and an unopened Uglydoll 2012 calendar on my windowsill. 
  
• What’s your plan for the day? gtfo of work asap, grab dinner on the way home, and watch yesterday’s Call the Midwife s2 finale.
  
• Are you reading any books right now? Daphne Du Maurier’s Rebecca
  
• Do you ever count your steps when you walk? Only if there is more than one path to reach a destination and I want to see which one is shorter.
  
• Do you ever dance even if there’s no music playing? Nope, not even when there is music playing, not even when friends harass me repeatedly to join them. 
  
• Do you chew your pens and pencils? No.
  
• What is your “song of the week”? It’s only Monday and I actually haven’t listened to any music today. But I did have A Silent Film’s Sand & Snow on heavy rotation last week and the week before, so we can call that the album of the month. 
  
• Is it okay for guys to wear pink? Is this a serious question?
  
• Do you still watch cartoons? Yes, but not what the kids are watching these days.
  
• What do you drink with dinner? Water. 
  
• What do you dip chicken nuggets in? I don’t eat chicken nuggets. 
  
• What is your favorite food/cuisine? wow I’m so bored of this already. okay my favorites are mexican, italian, mughali, south indian, pacific asian. 
  
• What movies could you watch over and over and still love? Practical Magic, While You Were Sleeping, The Lake House, Miss Congeniality (shut up Sandy is my everything). also The Fall, Bridget Jones’s Diary, The Joy Luck Club, The King’s Speech, The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
  
• When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone on paper? I can’t remember, but if postcards count, then a few months ago. 
  
• Can you change the oil on a car? No.
  
• Best thing to eat for breakfast? Steel cut oats with brown sugar, or greek yogurt with strawberry rhubarb jam mixed in, or an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, or belgian waffles with caramelized sugar on top, and some good coffee.
  
• What is your usual bedtime? I struggle to stay awake until 9 pm, but once I’m past that, I struggle to go to bed by midnight. 
  
• Are you lazy? Extremely :(
  
• Afraid of heights? I’m not afraid while I’m in the act of ascension, but yeah once I’m up there, I can be a bit frightened. 
  
• Occupations you wanted to be when you were a kid? Astronaut, librarian, baby sitter, brick/stone mason, police officer, meteorologist, internationally renowned journo and news reporter.
• Hot tea or cold tea? Hot tea, with milk and sugar. 
  
• Tea or coffee? both. 
  
• Favorite kind of cookie? nothing beats a good chocolate chip cookie. 
  
• Can you swim well? I can’t swim and am terrified of drowning, but this didn’t stop me from jumping off a rock into the river while on a white water rafting trip. I thought I was going to die and had to be dragged out of the water by two boat guides. 
  
• Can you hold your breath without manually holding your nose? Can’t you?
  
• Who do you want to see right now? Honestly.. my mother.
