#titanic 2012 #i'm not crying there's just an iceberg melting on my face #really don't understand the hate this mini-series got #definitely don't understand the complaints that fellowes focused too much on class #class prejudice was freaking central to the tragedy #this series was rich in human drama and honestly that trumps glossy production values anyday #don't get me wrong i enjoy lavish sets and cinematography porn as much as the next person #but if i have to choose between the two i'd rather watch a multitude of interwoven narratives about people with secrets and dreams and flaws #then again i never really did watch the entirety of cameron's titanic so perhaps i shouldn't be making a comparison #wow pretentious d-bag alert #also these tags really got away from me #tl;dr: i absolutely loved this mini-series so w/e and haters to the left #goodnight
